All Elite Wrestling Approves Shawn Spears For 'Limitless Wrestling' Show

**UPDATED**

Limitless Wrestling announced that All Elite Wrestling has approved Shawn Spears to appear at their July 12 event.

**ORIGINAL**

AEW pulls Shawn Spears from an event.

Shawn Spears inserted himself into the spotlight of All Elite Wrestling when he hit Cody Rhodes over the head with a chair following Rhodes' match at AEW's Fyter Fest show. Shawn Spears is set to compete this weekend at Fight For The Fallen and on a future episode of Road To All Out, Spears will sit down to have an exclusive interview with WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross. With all that Spears has in front of him in AEW, he also has bookings on the independent scene and one of those bookings has been cancelled as announced by 'Limitless Wrestling'.

The promotion announced over their official Facebook page that AEW pulled Spears from their show in Portland, despite the agreement between Spears and 'Limitless Wrestling' that was made before Spears signed his AEW contract. The promotion added that they have been in contact with Spears' agent and AEW to come to a resolution but all offers were denied and Spears has since been replaced by Tommy Dreamer.

We?ve got some unfortunate news to pass along, so let?s just jump into it. AEW has pulled Shawn Spears from our event this Friday in Portland for a video shoot, despite Limitless having an agreement with Shawn before his new contract was signed. We?ve monitored his status on this show with his agent WEEKLY leading up to Friday and were assured the date was locked. We?ve spent the past 24 hours submitting different travel solutions to Shawn?s agent & AEW to make it work for all parties, all of which were denied.

Tommy Dreamer will replace Shawn Spears against Anthony Greene at #VLC2019. VIP ticket holders will receive a free Tommy Dreamer Limitless Trading Card + a free autograph from Dreamer. Any VIP ticket holders who are not satisfied and would like a refund can email RandyCarver at yahoo.com.

Unfortunately, with the wrestling industry continuously changing and new contracts arising, independent wrestling companies like Limitless will get the shit end of the stick in scenarios like this. Our job is to always be up front and provide the best show possible for the best wrestling fans in the world. We?ll be doing it again this Friday & I hope to see you there. Thanks for sticking with us.

- Randy

Shawn Spears will be teaming up with MJF and Sammy Guevara at Fight For The Fallen to take on Joey Janela, Darby Allin and Jimmy Havoc
