Allysin Kay apparently wasn't buying Tessa Blanchard's statement on allegations that she used racist language.
Kay was the first woman to step forward on Saturday, Jan. 11 with allegations that Blanchard spat on and used racist language during a confrontation with La Rosa Negra in 2017. Other female wrestlers then came forward and accused Blanchard of bullying.
Blanchard put out a statement on Thursday, Jan. 16 where she denied using the racist language, saying racism is not in her heart.
Allysin Kay offered up the following response.
You can try to babyface the fans, but the majority of our peers know Rosa’s story is true and that’s what matters.— Allysin Kay (@Sienna) January 17, 2020
I really hope that one day the other two witnesses of this incident come forward and further expose you as not only a racist, but a liar and an undeniable scumbag. https://t.co/FSXZhiEQaY
Blanchard did not address the bullying allegations in her statement.
La Rosa Negra commented on the situation as well, but did not specifically mention Tessa's name. You can find her comments by clicking here. Fightful Select also has a ton of notes on the situation, with more coming.
