On the July 5 episode of WWE Speed, Xavier Woods challenged Andrade for the WWE Speed Championship. They battled back and forth in a hard-fought bout. Woods took control with a dive to the outside and a tornado DDT. Andrade rallied, but Woods fired back with a diving stomp and a leg drop for a two-count. Andrade dodged the Limit Break, but Woods got a two-count with an inside cradle.
In the end, Andrade clinched the win with a back elbow and The Message.

Woods previously defeated Dijak and Nathan Frazer in the #1 Contender's Tournament to earn a title shot.
