Andrade El Idolo Returns To AEW (Again), Attacks JetSpeed
Andrade El Idolo is back in AEW.
On the October 1, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite, Andrade El Idolo made his surprise return to AEW. This move came just weeks after his sudden departure from WWE. The return was not followed up on, with multiple outlets reporting that El Idolo had violated a non-compete agreement with WWE.
On the January 7 episode of Dynamite, El Idolo once again made his return to AEW, appearing alongside the Don Callis Family after a trios match that pitted Jack Perry and The Young Bucks against The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, & Toa Liona).

In late December, Fightful Select issued a report and confirmed that Andrade was free to sign with AEW after his lawyers negotiated an early exit from the non-compete agreement.
