Andrade El Idolo Learns Of Kendal Grey, Says She Has A Future In The Business

Kendal Grey connected with a blocked kick-spinning elbow on Laynie Luck on Tuesday’s NXT, akin to the one popularized by Andrade El Idolo.

When it was noted on social media that Grey was paying tribute to Andrade, he replied, “Who?”

The response caused backlash from fans, but Andrade clarified that he genuinely wasn’t aware of her, but believes she has a bright future after learning of her.

“Hahaha! I asked who she was because, honestly, I didn’t know—but now I do, and it’s thanks to you guys! 🤣 She definitely has a future in this business. Good luck! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼” he wrote.

Andrade also critiqued the spinning back elbow, writing, “The first few times, my elbow strike wasn’t the best; with time, I improved it. It’s not bad, but by practicing it, she’ll make it great!!” 

Andrade is signed to AEW, while Grey is part of WWE.
