Next week, Andrade El Idolo makes his debut inside an AEW ring.
After being interrupted by Matt Sydal on the special Saturday Night episode of Dynamite on Saturday, June 26, Andrade has now requested that “Matt Something” face him one-on-one on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at AEW Road Rager, the first episode of Dynamite as part of the comeback tour following the global COVID pandemic.
Additionally, next week will also feature the South Beach Strap Match between Cody Rhodes and QT Marshall. However, one match that was previously teased for next week that will no longer take place is the match between Darby Allin and Ethan Page.
Initially, Ethan had challenged Darby to meet him in a Coffin Match on July 7. Following an assault from Darby, Ethan stated that he wanted further provisions put forth that Darby could not touch him for one week before the coffin match and if Darby would agree to those terms then perhaps, the match would be made for Fyter Fest.
Also announced for next week, Maxwell Jacob Friedman will name his stipulations for Chris Jericho if Chris Jericho truly wants another match against him. MJF applied a similar approach building up to his match at Revolution 2020 against Cody Rhodes.
It was also announced that there will be a Mixed Tag Match for the first time ever in AEW as Orange Cassidy teams with Kris Statlander to go against The Bunny and The Blade. In addition to that, The Inner Circle with Konnan and their corner will take on the Pinnacle with Tully Blanchard in their corner in Six Man Tag action.
The Tag Team Championship will also be on the line as The Young Bucks defend the championship against Penta El Zero M and Eddie Kingston.

- AEW Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks vs. Penta El Zero M and Eddie Kingston

- The Inner Circle ( Santana, Ortiz, and Jake Hager w/ Konnan) vs. The Pinnacle (Wardlow and FTR w/ Tully Blanchard)
