As a 10-time Divas/Women's Champion, Charlotte Flair knows all about being a champion on the main roster. So when her boyfriend Andrade captured his first main roster title on Dec. 26, she had some advice for the new WWE United States Champion.

Speaking to The New York Post, Andrade revealed the piece of advice Charlotte gave him on how to carry himself as a champion.

“When I won the title at Madison Square Garden, she told me [I needed] something different to enter with the title,” Andrade said. “You hold the title to a different side or in the middle so people can remember this and have familiarity with the title. You now are the champion.”

Andrade defeated Rey Mysterio to win the title inside Madison Square Garden. The two are set to rematch on the Jan. 6 WWE Raw.

When discussing his victory over Rey, Andrade said, “Rey Mysterio is a legend in Mexico and MSG is one of the most famous arenas in the world, to win the title is many dreams [for me]. Winning the title, that was my opportunity. Now is my moment. When I held the US title, the most important thing is Rey Mysterio is a legend and idol in Mexico. I won a title versus Rey Mysterio, it’s incredible.”

Andrade picked up a victory over Ricochet on Monday's WWE Raw, giving him some more momentum going into the rematch with Mysterio.
