Angelo Dawkins Says Vince McMahon Always Pushed The Street Profits To Be Better

The Street Profits have been a staple of the WWE tag division since they were called up to the main roster in 2019.

Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford have won tag titles across all three brands and were heavily featured while Vince McMahon was calling the shots through July 2022 before he retired from leading creative.

Speaking on the Highlydishfunctional Show, Dawkins was asked about working with McMahon.

"He was awesome. He was awesome. He always pushed us to do better and stuff like that. He just wanted us to succeed. If he felt like we weren't doing our best, he would let us know. That's what any coach, anybody that is your boss, if they don't see you giving your best, they push you to be your best at any and everything, in every situation. It's awesome to be around and work with somebody of that magnitude. He just has his eye on the prize each and every time. He always sees the big picture and he's been a guide since being able to work with him," said Dawkins.

Triple H, who ran NXT as the Street Profits were coming up through the system, is now leading WWE creative, though Vince McMahon is still involved and giving notes.

The Street Profits were in action on the June 23 episode of WWE SmackDown, losing to Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson). Fans can find results from the show by clicking here.
