Anna Jay Reveals Jack Perry Came Up With Her ‘Fat Ass, Bad Attitude’ Catchphrase

Anna Jay shares the origins of the catchphrase.
The featured guest for the latest Highspots Sign-it-Live session was AEW’s Anna Jay. Jay signed her catchphrase, ‘Fat ass, bad attitude,’ a multitude of times.
She was asked about the origins of it and revealed that former TNT Champion Jack Perry suggested that she start using it.
“Um, I don’t know if I wanna say,” she responded when asked how she came up with the ‘fat ass, bad attitude’ catchphrase. “It wasn’t me. Alright, it was actually Jack (Perry). Yeah, and for a long time, he was like, ‘Why don’t you say this? It’s kind of crazy and it’ll stick with people’ and I was like, ‘I don’t want to. That’s so not me to say,’ and then, one day, I think I ran it by Chris Jericho… And I think he was like, ‘Yeah, go for it,’ and then that’s how it happened.”
Jay has not wrestled since mid-August. She stated that she’ll be at AEW Collision on 9/6, but is not sure if she’ll be doing anything.
“Collision, this weekend, Saturday, Philadelphia, I’ll be there. I’m not sure if I’m doing anything but I’ll be there. Watch it.”
Jay has been a part of AEW for five years. Her significant other, Jack Perry, has not wrestled since January, when he challenged for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Dynasty.
