Another name has moved on to the semi-finals of the TBS Women’s Championship Tournament.
On the November 19 episode of AEW Rampage, Jade Cargill and Red Velvet faced off in a quarterfinal match in the AEW TBS Women’s Championship Tournament. The two women have been at odds ever since Jade’s very first match in AEW when she teamed with Shaquille O’Neal against Red Velvet and Cody Rhodes.
Last week, after Jade defeated Santana Garrett, Red Velvet attacked her with a spear on the outside of the ring and then threw the 1 Year Anniversary cake that Smart Mark Sterling baked for her in his face.
Tonight’s bout saw both women come close to finishing the other on multiple occasions, but it was Cargill who would eventually emerge victoriously. She pinned Red Velvet after dodging The Final Slice and hitting her Jaded slam for the pin and win.

Jade will face the winner of Jamie Hayter vs. Thunder Rosa in the semi-finals. That bout is set to take place on the November 24 episode of AEW Dynamite.
The finals of the tournament will be held on January 5, 2022, when AEW Dynamite officially moves to TBS.
