Anthony Bowens: “I Currently Have A Slightly Torn Meniscus In My Right Knee”

A health update from Anthony Bowens.

There’s a new interview with former AEW World Tag Team Champion Anthony Bowens that was conducted by Michael Fairman.

Bowens was asked about the injuries he’s tallied up throughout his wrestling career and mentioned that he’s currently dealing with a slightly torn meniscus in his right knee.

“I’ve had a few diagnosed concussions. I’m sure there’s been undiagnosed. I’ve had a seizure in the ring. My MCL’s torn; it had to be repaired. I currently have a slightly torn meniscus in my right knee. My left meniscus got torn and I had to have that repaired. Let’s see, I bruised nerves in my lower back once,” he laughed. “That’s what I could think of off the top of my head. I’m sure there’s a lot more.”

In early October, Fightful Select reported that Bowens is now a free agent after being with All Elite Wrestling since 2020.
