Ariane Andrew has explained why she wants to have Naomi at a future Pound Town Wrestling event so she can experience her vision.
In recent years, Ariane has been a staple of Pound Town Wrestling, proving to be an influential part of the independent wrestling promotion. Now, she has noted one big name she’d like to have at a future PTW event.
While speaking to Women’s Wrestling Talk in a new interview, Ariane Andrew (formerly known as Cameron in WWE), would be asked about her dream talent to bring in to a PTW show, naming her former tag team partner Naomi.
“Of course, Naomi. That’s, that’s my girl. Like I would love to have her here experiencing the vision and something that we both like started something together, and at that time being one of the only black girls, you have Fox, she was here, me and Trin so yeah, to have that, that would be awesome.”
Ariane also shared how the promotions most recent event on June 13th was almost canceled.
“Just two days ago, they canceled this event, and I stood my ground and I’m like, I will not take no for an answer. How are we getting this last minute? It was super important for me because it wasn’t just about me. It was about everybody who I had coming here, people who are flying from out of the country. It wasn’t about myself. It’s just like, we can’t do this, and it’s just about showing, like, when you stand your ground, when you are super, super passionate about something, no one can ever tell you the fuck no.”
Elsewhere in another interview, Ariane spoke about a viral Tough Enough moment she was involved in. You can read more about that here.
