Arianna Grace: With The Blessing Of NXT Creative, Tommy Dreamer Has Really Helped Me Seize Opportunities In TNA

Arianna Grace credits Tommy Dreamer.

At TNA Wrestling’s No Surrender special in February, WWE NXT talent Arianna Grace became the new Knockouts World Champion.

Grace spoke about her title win while on Busted Open After Dark and expressed that she feels a title win was long overdue for her career. She stated that she knew she would become champion one day, and also addressed the online backlash that followed her title win.

“Honestly, it was an amazing moment and I have to say it felt long overdue. I’m a very self-confident person and I’ve known with the right opportunity that I would be a champion. So it felt sweet… and I saw all the hate online. I heard all those doubters’ comments so it felt good to stick it to them and show them that I’m not only beautiful, I’m also strong, talented and ruthless. I had an opportunity and I took it and I will continue to do that, over and over and over.”

Grace went on to credit TNA creative team member Tommy Dreamer for helping her seize opportunities in the promotion. She stated that Dreamer has done that with the blessing of NXT’s creative team.

“I would just like to say shout out Tommy Dreamer. God bless that man. He is the nicest, he is a saint, and with the blessing of NXT creative as well, he has really helped me seize opportunities and show my teeth. He’s believed in me, and you know, that’s why they call him Tommy Dreamer, because he makes dreams come true. So, honestly, shout out NXT creative team, shout out Tommy. Everything this year feels like it’s aligned.”

Grace successfully defended the Knockouts World Title against Jody Threat on the 3/5 TNA iMPACT. In NXT, Grace is part of a faction with Lexis King, Uriah Connors, and her fiancé, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo.
