Arrest Made In Shooting Deaths Of Independent Wrestler & His Mother

An arrest has been made.
There’s a report up from ABC 7 about the shooting deaths of independent wrestler Evan Simonds, ring name Lars Luger, and his mother, Lori Simonds.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the shooting of Evan and Lori, but the individual has not been publicly identified as he has not been arraigned.
The shooting was reported on Wednesday in Pleasanton, California. The following day, the individual was pulled over, and law enforcement found multiple firearms in his car.
A GoFundMe was launched to support the family of Evan and Lori. Here are the details from the GoFundMe page:
My son’s very close friend, is just 26 years old and is facing an unimaginable tragedy. Just yesterday, her mother and brother were shot in their home. The details of the shooting are still unclear, but what is painfully clear is that she is now left without her family. She has already endured the loss of her father at a young age, and now she must plan services for the only family she has ever known. The emotional and financial burden she faces is overwhelming, and she will need the support of her community to get through this.
She is a 3rd generation Pleasanton resident and an Amador Valley High School graduate. She has worked tirelessly to put herself through nursing school and was building a promising career. Now, her future is uncertain as she has lost her entire family in a single moment. The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses for her mother and brother, provide support for household bills, counseling, and give her the time she needs to grieve and plan for the days ahead. She has become head of household overnight, and your support will help her make ends meet during this incredibly difficult time.
We are asking for your help to support her as she navigates this heartbreaking loss. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in her life. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help her find hope and stability as she begins to rebuild. Your kindness and generosity will mean the world to her.
Fightful would like to extend our condolences to the Simonds family.
