Ash by Elegance Becomes TNA Knockouts World Champion At NXT Heatwave
The Knockouts Title is back on a TNA-contracted talent.
WWE NXT talent Jacy Jayne has been the TNA Knockouts World Champion since winning the belt at Slammiversary in July.
She went into the NXT Heatwave Premium Live Event as the Knockouts World and NXT Women’s Champion. She put her TNA title on the line in a Triple Threat against Masha Slamovich and Ash by Elegance. Ringside for the bout was TNA President Carlos Silva.
There was a point in the match when the referee ejected Fatal Influence’s Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley after Nyx struck Ash. Right before that, Fatal Influence was jawing with The Elegance Brand (M by Elegance, Heather by Elegance, & The Personal Concierge).
Later in the match, Jayne had Slamovich pinned after hitting her finisher, but the Elegance Brand yanked her out of the ring. Ash then climbed up to the top rope and performed a senton on Masha. Ash secured the three-count and became the new Knockouts World Champion.
TNA President Carlos Silva was shown at ringside shaking the hands of fellow TNA executives. The Elegance Brand now has the Knockouts World and Knockouts World Tag Team Titles.
