Ash by Elegance Feels TNA Has Narrowed Things Down To An ‘Awesome Roster’: “You Kind Of Have To Cut Off The Dead Fat… Sometimes People Aren’t Made For This”
Ash shares her thoughts about the roster going into their debut show on AMC.
TNA Wrestling is set to premiere Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC on January 15th. Talents and those behind the scenes have been making the media rounds to promote the show.
One of those names on a media run is Ash by Elegance. On Busted Open, she spoke about the roster that TNA is going into the AMC debut with and described it as ‘awesome.’ She mentioned that it has been narrowed down and said sometimes the dead fat needs to be trimmed.
“Seeing their hard work and seeing our hard work as a TNA roster pay off now on a bigger platform, like AMC… nothing like live national television. That’s a whole different ballgame. It’s not pre-recorded. If you mess something up, it’s not being able to be edited out and that’s how you know who the real team players are and who really is professional and is made for this business. We always laugh, ‘In five, four, three, two, crash to break.’ You have to hit your times and that’s what makes this roster really stand out. You kind of have to cut off the dead fat and trim off the dead meat, because sometimes people aren’t made for this. Under pressure, they’ll choke and things like that so, we’ve really narrowed it down to such an awesome roster that puts in the work, that understands the business. That’s not only in front of the camera but works behind the scenes because you get text messages at 9 PM, ‘Hey, can you post this? Hey, can you jump on this interview?’ And that’s all part of the game and what has built TNA to be able to land this amazing deal with AMC.”
In the same media appearance, Ash stated that she is working towards becoming medically cleared. She stepped away from in-ring competition at the Victory Road special in September.
