Ash By Elegance Stepping Away From In-Ring Competition, Relinquishes TNA Knockouts World Title At Victory Road
Ash by Elegance is stepping away from in-ring action.
Starting the main show of TNA Victory Road was Director of Authority Santino Marella and TNA President Carlos Silva.
They were joined in the ring by TNA Knockouts World Champion Ash by Elegance. She was originally set to defend the title against Masha Slamovich at Victory Road, but abuse allegations against Slamovich arose from her ex-significant other and fellow wrestler, AKIRA. TNA announced that they would be investigating the claims, and Slamovich has since released a statement on the situation.
Ash spoke about her journey to TNA and said sometimes, life throws you curveballs. She stated that she’s stepping away from in-ring competition and relinquished the Knockouts World Title.
Ash stated that it was an honor to perform for the TNA fans, whether they cheered her or booed her, and added that they rightfully booed her because she was a “stuck-up b*tch” to them. Ash closed by saying she’ll miss the fans.
