Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis is leaving WWE.
In August of 2020, it was announced that Adonis had signed with WWE, and soon after he would be paired with the other members of Hit Row. Along with the rest of the faction, Adonis was initially released in November of 2021 before being brought back in 2022. Since Hit Row split up, Adonis has found himself on the NXT brand where he has featured in storylines with Karmen Petrovic and Cedric Alexander.
On social media on Sunday, Ashante would announce that after six years with WWE, he would be leaving the company. Ashante noted that he is looking forward to being able to show the world what he can really do in the squared circle.
After 6 unforgettable years under the WWE lights, the time has come for me to close that chapter. I'm filled with nothing but gratitude for every opportunity, the experiences, lessons, and incredible talent I've had the chance to work with.

Following his announcement, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that Ashante’s WWE exit is a result of his contract with the company expiring.

Ashante last competed on the June 24th edition of WWE NXT, losing to Ricky Saints in singles action.
During his time in WWE, Ashante would also feature as part of the companies TNA crossover, competing at TNA Genesis earlier this year.
