Asuka Makes History, Breaks Records On WWE Raw

WWE's dominant, undefeated Asuka continues to make history for the brand.

As I tweeted early Monday morning, the former NXT Champion Asuka set several records for WWE with her lighting fast submission win over Dana Brooke on Monday night's episode of WWE Raw.

To be specific, this was the quickest submission victory in WWE TV history, but there were a few other records surpassed.

Quickest win without a distraction or foreign object: Spike Dudley defeated William Regal with use of brass knuckles, and Chris Jericho & Jerry Lawler defeated Tazz when he became distracted by his very nude tag team partner, Mideon. There are other situations that saw wrestlers laid out before the match or counts start before a bell rang, but Asuka has added herself to record books.

This comes after Asuka broke records for her undefeated streak in NXT, as well as becoming the longest reigning NXT Women's Champion of all time. The quickest win without a distraction or foreign object prior to Asuka/Dana Brooke was The Rock vs. Big Bossman at Survivor Series 1998.
