Asuka Provides An Update After Injury Scare, Notes That It's Not A Concussion And Her Neck Is Fine

Asuka is doing just fine and has assured everyone of that.

The current SmackDown Live Women's Champion Asuka had an injury scare at tonight's SmackDown house show in White Plains, New York. Asuka squared off with Mandy Rose with the SmackDown Women's Title on the line and during their match, Mandy Rose loaded Asuka up for her Double-hook Facebuster finisher and according to those in attendance, Asuka landed awkwardly on her head and neck area. The match was called off but "The Empress Of Tomorrow" has taken to social media to provide an update on how she is doing. Asuka noted on Twitter that she is sorry for worrying the fans and added that she only hit her back and followed that up with another tweet in-which she clarified that she does not have a concussion and her neck is not the problem.

Asuka is set to defend the SmackDown Women's Title against Mandy Rose this Sunday at Fastlane. The road for the RAW Women's Title picture was also cleared up by the end of tonight's WWE RAW as a match was made official for Fastlane featuring Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. If Becky can win, she'll be added to the Ronda Rousey versus Charlotte Flair match at WrestleMania 35 but if Becky loses, Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte is a lock for WrestleMania.
