Athena is always looking after her OG minion.
Athena re-emerged on Ring of Honor television on May 23 to declare that Billie Starkz, her on-again, off-again top minion, would be entering the tournament to crown the first-ever Ring of Honor Women's Pure Champion. This was Athena's first appearance since losing to Mercedes Mone at AEW Spring Breakthru, but she's rounding the corner to 900 days as the Ring of Honor Women's World Champion.
Billie Starkz is the sixth woman to enter the fray of competitors for the upcoming tournament. The other five are Queen Aminata, Deonna Purrazo, Leila Grey, Serena Deeb, and Taya Valkyrie.
