Athena, Billie Starkz & Mina Shirakawa Appear At RevPro Global Wars UK
Athena picked up a win in singles action.
Night one of Revolution Pro Wrestling’s 13 Year Anniversary weekend was the Global Wars U.K. show. There was a moment during the show when Mercedez Blaze hit the ring and expressed her frustrations about not having a match on the card.
She then issued an open challenge and out came the reigning ROH Women’s World Champion, Athena. They had a singles bout, and Athena came out victorious.
Post-match, Athena and Billie Starkz got back in the ring and Athena began to taunt her Forbidden Door opponent, AEW Women’s World Champion ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm, in addition to taunting Mina Shirakawa, who she’ll be defending the ROH Women’s World Title against at Death Before Dishonor.
Athena and Starkz beat Blaze down, but Shirakawa showed up and fought them off.
The Global Wars U.K. show also featured Mercedes Moné collecting her ninth championship, as she captured Discovery Wrestling’s Scottish Women’s Title.
