Athena will defend the Ring of Honor Women's World Title on the May 11 episode of ROH Wrestling on HonorClub.
On the May 11 ROH on HonorClub, Skye Blue challenged Athena to put her Ring of Honor World Women's Championship on the line against her, proclaiming that she was tired of Athena being a bully.
The challenge was made during a backstage interview.

Later in the night, prior to Skye Blue picking up a victory over Robyn Renegade, Athena would accept the challenge and say that the match would take place on May 11.
