Athena Wins Survival Of The Fittest Match To Retain ROH Women’s World Title At Supercard Of Honor 2026
Athena’s reign as ROH Women’s World Champion continues.
Closing out the 2026 installment of Ring of Honor’s Supercard of Honor pay-per-view was a Survival of the Fittest match for the ROH Women’s World Championship. The following names competed in the bout:
- Athena (ROH Women’s World Champion)
- Maya World
- Trish Adora
- Yuka Sakazaki
- Billie Starkz
- Zayda Steel
Athena went into the bout having held the title since December 2022, which is over 1,240 days as champion. She got the first elimination by pinning Zayda Steel.
One of the match highlights saw Adora chokeslam Athena through a stack of chairs. Adora was later eliminated by Sakazaki. Sakazaki’s time in the bout came to an end after Billie Starkz eliminated her.
Maya World eliminated Starkz after Athena accidentally took Starkz out. With World and Athena remaining, World had Athena in an Ankle Lock, and Starkz was about to throw in the towel for her longtime ally, Athena. Athena stopped her from doing so.
The backend of the bout saw Athena step on Starkz’s back to climb a ladder and jump off it to hit the O-Face onto World and retain the ROH Women’s Championship.
After the bout, Starkz was not happy and walked away from Athena and Diamanté.
