Austin Aries Says He's Taking Some Time Off; "Some Time" Might Be "Two Days"

Erstwhile top Cruiserweight contender Austin Aries was a guest on Busted Open Radio and he talked about how he's dealing with some nagging injuries.

After his third straight PPV loss to Neville--this one coming clean, without distractions or shenanigans--Aries looked into the camera and made this face:

Jon Moxley Returns To AEW, Challenges Powerhouse Hobbs To Match On 4/24 AEW Dynamite

Then he tweeted this out:

So we weren't really sure where his head was at.

And now he does an interview where he says this:

“I’ve got some stuff going on, but just to be fair, you could probably say that for a lot of the locker room. It’s kind of part of what we do; I don’t think anyone is ever 100%. So I got a couple things going on and obviously at this point it might be a good time to take a little break, which really could consist of two days to just adjust some of those things, try and get my mind and my body right and then come back and figure out what’s gonna be next and what the direction’s gonna be.”

So he might be injured, but big deal, he says, everybody's a little injured. And he needs to get his mind and body right. So he's going to take some time off. But that might be just two days.

So after two days rest, he'll be back, as good as new?

Man, all that extra potassium that Aries gets from those bananas really does the trick, doesn't it?
