Austin Idol betrayed his own son at NWA Crockett Cup 2023.
On the second night of NWA Crockett Cup on June 4, Cyon battled an individual who was referred to as the Masked Man. The mystery man attacked Cyon on the first night of the pay-per-view, setting the stage for their clash on Sunday night. The mystery man came to the ring with what sounded like a white noise machine. The newcomer proved to be Cyon's equal throughout the match, as he matched his power, and they even had similar masks.
In the closing moments, Idol, who had been silent throughout the bout, surprisingly turned on Cyon by hitting him with some brass knuckles. The referee ruled that Cyon was unable to continue. Jordan Clearwater, and Idol laid him out, too. The masked man dragged Clearwater into the ring, and Idol spit on both Cyon and Clearwater. He stood tall with the mystery man, as a new alliance had clearly been born.

Cyon previously revealed that Austin Idol as his father. They had been featured together in Idolmania Sports Management, which also included Tyrus Jordan Clearwater, and BLK Jeez. During his run with the group, Cyon won the NWA National Heavyweight Champion.
