Austin Theory says that it ‘doesn’t really bother him’ that he is hated by WWE fans.

Since making his way to the WWE main roster, Theory has been a heel on the roster, coming up against top stars such as John Cena as well as most recently featuring in a six man tag team match at WrestleMania 42 that also featured Logan Paul, I ShowSpeed and more.

While speaking to Enry Lazza in a new interview, Austin Theory played a game called ‘real or cap’, and was asked if he doesn’t mind being hated by WWE fans.

“(jokingly) That’s cap. I hate the hate, you know? No, for real, though. It doesn’t really bother me, but, you know, no one wants to be hated. But if I got to be hated for how good I am, it’s real then.”

Later on in the same interview, would also play a game rating different aspects of his wrestling career out of ten, being asked how much control he feels he has over his career.

“I feel like it’s, I can’t, I don’t get to make every choice, but I think I hold a lot of that power. So let’s go with a- let’s go with an eight.”

Elsewhere in another interview last month, Theory spoke about Pat McAfee’s involvement on the road to WrestleMania. You can read more about that here.
