Austin Theory and Santana Garrett lead a new class of WWE signees heading to the Performance Center.
Both Theory and Garcia, along with seven other signees highlight a class that has not only signed developmental deals with WWE but also have reported for training at the Performance Center this week.
Theory is the current EVOLVE champion, but did recently make an appearance at NXT TakeOver: Toronto ringside and did say he would return to WWE through NXT. Theory won the EVOLVE Title from Fabian Aichner last December in a triple threat match that also featured Roderick Strong.
Garrett is a former Shine and Women of Wrestling champion who previously had experience competing in WWE. She wrestled in the first Mae Young Classic in 2017, losing to Piper Niven in the opening round.
Also announced as part of the class are former football players Tehuti Miles and EJ Nduka, semi-pro basketball Aleksandar Jaksic, hip hop artist Briana Brandy, Jiu-Jitsu champion Rita Reis, Muay Thai instructor Marcos Gomes and Chilean wrestler Catalina Garcia. Several of these new signees, including Brandy and Miles have attended WWE tryouts within the past couple of years.
