Nathan Frazer and Axiom found out who was the better man at NXT Deadline.

On the December 5th edition of NXT, Axiom and Frazer squared off in singles action in a bout of friendly competition. However, the match was interrupted by the competitors of the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge brawling, leading to a no contest.

The two men would then be booked for the NXT Deadline kickoff show, where they would have the opportunity to showcase their talents and decide a true victor. Prior to the matchup on the kickoff show, both men were shown warming up in the back.

As ever, Frazer brought his well highlighted speed and energy to his entrance. Meanwhile, Axiom's patented motion blur entrance jumped off the screen as ever.

The two men would show off their chain grappling skills early as they locked up, but it didn't take long for the speed of the matchup to heighten quickly. The two men would exchange agile counters, eventually reaching a stalemate that garnered an "NXT" chant from the crowd. The agile exchanges continued between the two, with Frazer's aggression being the difference early on, stopping several Axiom rallies with high impact offense.

Axiom however would manage to make one such rally stick as he managed to hit a forearm strike that put Frazer to the outside of the ring before an incredible moonsault from the masked superstar. When the two re-entered the ring however, Frazer would strike back with a huge superplex.

The two men would continue to exchange strikes and impressive counters that included a series of superkicks from the two men. Axiom would hit a huge Spanish Fly before hitting the Golden Ratio for the winning pinfall.

After the match, the two men would shake hands and embrace.
