Bad Luck Fale On David Finlay Leading Bullet Club: I Give Him Props For Doing Something Different

Bad Luck Fale stays in his lane when it comes to Bullet Club.

Fale is a founding member of Bullet Club, as he launched the group with Prince Devitt, Karl Anderson and Tama Tonga in 2013. A number of top stars have been a part of Bullet Club over the years, including Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and Adam Cole. Former leader Jay White left the stable in February 2023, and David Finlay subsequently took over in March. He has already made major changes, as he has kicked El Phantasmo out and added Clark Connors to the faction.

Speaking on The Shining Wizards podcast, Fale was asked to share his thoughts on Finlay's run as the new leader of Bullet Club. He jokingly noted that he stays in his lane, as that's how he gets paid, whereas Finlay's role is to be the leader.

“Here’s why I support him. Nobody really knows who I am in the Bullet Club, right, because I stick to my fucking lane. That’s how I get paid. Stay in my lane, and I’ll get paid really well. If I jump in somebody else’s lane, I’m not gonna have a long career. This is why I like him because his lane is to be the leader. Not me. My lane is sit back and get paid," Fale said.

Fale continued by giving Finlay credit for coming in with something different. He admitted that he was thrown off for that very reason, but then he realized that everyone was talking about Finlay for that very reason. Fale stated that he hopes Finlay can carry Bullet Club forward for the next two or three years, and he's curious to see where the new leader goes with it.

“I give him a lot of props because he’s coming in with something different. Straight away, I was like, 'What is he trying to do?' But then I thought man, it’s different, and everybody is talking about him because he’s doing something different. Why not? Let’s see where he goes with it. I hope he carries it on and takes us for another two, three years and see what happens after that," Fale said.
