Bad Luck Fale: It Felt Like Bullet Club Was Losing Its Identity After The Elite Arrived

Bad Luck Fale looks back on Kenny Omega and The Elite's role in Bullet Club's history.

The Bullet Club member spoke with NJPW and talked about The Elite's (Omega, Nick and Matt Jackson) time in the stable. According to Fale, he was happy that the group first entered Bullet Club, but then he felt the stable was struggling with its identity as it tried to expand overseas.

"Yeah, I thought this was our chance to take what we had built and bring it to the States, bring it to the world. It got us a lot of notoriety, as a brand, but… No. It wasn’t taking what we had built overseas, it was taking Kenny and the Elite’s vision overseas. We weren’t wrestling the way we did, we were wrestling the way they did. It really felt like we were losing our identity," Fale said.

Omega led Bullet Club after AJ Styles' departure from NJPW, winning the IWGP Heavyweight Title and headlining Wrestle Kingdom on multiple occasions. Afterwards, The Elite left NJPW in 2019 and would go on to join AEW as Executive Vice Presidents. Now, Bullet Club is currently being led by Jay White.
