Bandido Challenging MJF For AEW World Championship At AEW Maximum Carnage 2026

Bandido is looking to become a double champion.

With ROH World Champion Bandido capturing the Dynamite Diamond Ring, he secured himself a shot at the AEW World Championship.

Bandido is getting his title match at the Maximum Carnage edition of Dynamite on January 14th in Phoenix, Arizona. His opponent was determined via the main event of the 2025 Worlds End pay-per-view, where Samoa Joe defended the AEW World Title against MJF, Swerve Strickland, and Hangman Adam Page in a four-way match.

Coming out of the match as champion was MJF, who is now a two-time AEW World Champion.
