Bandido would like to face Mistico at AEW Grand Slam: Mexico.
Bandido is currently the Ring of Honor World Champion; at his core, he is a proud Luchador. AEW is preparing to host its first-ever live event in Mexico: AEW Grand Slam: Mexico, which will be held in the famous Arena Mexico in Mexico City on June 18.
During the AEW Double Or Nothing post-show media scrum, Fightful's Kimmy Sokol asked the Ring of Honor World Champion if he had any dream opponents for the show. He stated that the one name he's always wanted to face is the legendary Mistico, whom he's watched since he was a child.
"In Mexico, a lot of good luchadors that I always want to take a match with them. One of them is Mascara Dorada, who I will have a match with on Tuesday night (before AEW Grand Slam Mexico). Other guys, Mistico, he’s a big superstar. Hopefully, he gets the opportunity to get a title match. I always watched CMLL TV and it was Mistico in my childhood."
