Bandido Says Chris Jericho Is A Great Guy, ‘He’s Been Amazing With Me And My Family’

Bandido praises Chris Jericho.

Chris Jericho has been away from AEW and Ring of Honor ever since losing the Ring of Honor World Championship to Bandido at AEW Dynasty in April 2025. While it remains to be seen where and when Jericho will pop up next, Bandido has had some time to reflect on their program together and has nothing but glowing words for the legendary professional wrestler, praising his instrumental role in the growth of his career and the way Jericho treated his family.

Bandido told Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone that he is grateful for the time he spent working with Jericho and that he was nothing but helpful to him along the way.

“Oh man, Chris has been amazing with me and all my family. He always helps me and he’s such a great guy. He always helps me,” Bandido said. “I’m really grateful with him for everything. Chris Jericho is a great wrestler. He’s amazing and he just helps me with everything. He says, ‘Yeah, maybe we can do this, this, and that will be amazing.’ He thinks of everything, so that’s the reason why I’m very grateful [for working] with him.”

Recently, rumors have circulated that Chris Jericho might be returning to WWE. Jericho recently dismissed these rumors, stating that he is still with AEW for the foreseeable future but remains open to a WWE return in the future. Read his comments here.
