This will be Bandido’s third title defense in Mexico. His last defense came in October 2025 when he defeated Hechicero. Overall, he has made nine successful title defenses, most recently against Blake Christian at ROH Supercard of Honor.
After facing Volador Jr on Friday, he will travel to New York to face Swerve Strickland on Sunday at AEW Double or Nothing as part of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament.
