Bandido Wins Dynamite Diamond Ring
Bandido won the 2025 Dynamite Diamond Ring by defeating Ricochet on the December 24th episode of AEW Dynamite on 34th Street.
The finish saw Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) cause a distraction to help Ricochet, but it not quite paying off as the masked luchador was able to survive and counter.
Ricochet went for the spirit gun to finish off Bandido, who managed to duck and catch Ricochet in a crucifix pin for the victory.
After the match, Ricochet and Gates of Agony attacked the reigning ROH Champion until Brody King made the save.
Bandido is the first person not named MJF to win the Dynamite Diamond Ring. MJF had won all six years since it was introduced in 2019.
With this victory, Bandido will challenge the AEW World Champion for the title at AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage on January 14.
