At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Bandido and Brody King would win the AEW World Tag Team Championships, and are now taking their team international with upcoming dates in CMLL.
While speaking during a recent CMLL media call to Planeta Wrestling, Bandido spoke about the possibility of capturing more tag titles all over the world and the duo becoming a ‘belt collectors’ team.
“Now that many people are calling me “Bandido 2 Belts,” since I’m carrying two championships, why not become a “Belt Collectors” team? If we can come to Mexico and hold the CMLL World Tag Team Championships, that would be incredible. If we can go to New Japan and bring the New Japan (IWGP) Championships, that would be fantastic for us. The point is that right now, the chemistry that Brody and I have is adapting to any style of wrestling. Whether it’s Lucha Libre, Wrestling, or Puroresu. And that’s something people love to watch.”
