Baron Black makes history.
On the July 25 edition of AEW Dark: Elevation, which was taped before last week's Dynamite in Black's hometown of Atlanta, Baron Black finally conquered his demons and won his first ever match within the confines of the promotion. Before the signature win over Brandon Cutler, Black had lost fifty straight matches in the company dating back to April 2020, when he made his debut.
In a recent Twitter post, Black used one word to descibr the historic victory.
Nearly every match that Black has had has aired on Dark or Dark: Elevation. During that time, Black faced notable talent such as Lance Archer, Powerhouse Hobbs, the Dark Order, and more.
