Baron Corbin Says He's "Got Some New Targets" On SmackDown

Baron Corbin wants to be "the guy" and says he will go through anybody to do that.

Smackdown roster member Corbin has new competition due to the Superstar Shakeup. Smackdown lost some of their big names but gained wrestlers like Rusev, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Jinder Mahal. In an interview with WDRB of Louisville, Kentucky, Corbin talked about the changing landscape of Smackdown and how it affects him and the other wrestlers.

"It changes the layout. The superstars that changed from Smackdown to Raw and (from) Raw came over to Smackdown, everybody is hungry for opportunity, everybody wants shots at championships, and they want to be 'the guy.' They want to be the guy everyone is chasing and we've had new guys like Kevin Owens come over. Sami Zayn has come over. We lost guys like Dean Ambrose. That's someone I had a lot of problems with, so they moved him to Raw. Unfortunately I can't punch him in the face any more for at least the time being. But, we've got some new targets," said Corbin.

Corbin went onto say he is ready to face any of the Smackdown roster because he wants to be "the guy." Also during the interview, Corbin humored a news anchor who was joking about wrestling him. On Tuesday, he faced AJ Styles but lost via countout. During the match, Corbin threw Styles on top of the WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens, who was at the commentary booth.

A video of the interview is available on WDRB's website
