Batista Says He Wasn't Bashing The Rock; Still Doesn't Think He's A Great Actor

Batista isn't backing down from his comments.

On Feb. 25, the Tampa Bay Times ran a profile piece on Batista. In the interview, Batista was asked about fellow WWE superstars turned Hollywood actors, John Cena and The Rock.

"Do not compare me to The Rock or John Cena. Everyone does it. Those guys are wrestlers who became movie stars. I?m ... something else. I was a wrestler. Now, I?m an actor," said Batista. "Rock was, in a way, a movie star before he was even a movie star. There is something about him that?s really special. I?d never take that away from him. Would I consider him a great actor? F--- no."

As expected, Batista's comments made headlines across the Internet with some believing Batista was bashing the acting chops of The Rock and Cena. Batista took to social media to clarify that he wasn't bashing The Rock, but he stands by his statement.

The Rock has yet to comment on Batista's opinion of his acting skills.

It's been a busy week for Batista as he not only made headlines for his words but for his actions as well. The Animal returned to WWE television on Monday, taking out Ric Flair prior to his 70th birthday celebration in an effort to get the attention of Triple H.
