Batista Says He Will Never Wrestle Again, Would "Go Broke" Before He Does

Batista will never wrestle again.

Dave Bautista (Batista) has moved on to Hollywood and a major acting career, leaving his in-ring career behind. Shortly after losing to Triple H at WrestleMania 35 in his first match back in almost five years, the former WWE Champion announced his retirement from wrestling. However, as wrestling retirements go, many are short-lived. According to the man himself, he will avoid competing in the ring at all costs, but might still appear on WWE programming.

"This is a real wrestling retirement. I am done. My in ring career is over. I would love to go back on the show because I love the company and I believe in the product so I would go back and go on the show. If they ask me to go in the Hall of Fame I will. But I will not have another wrestling match. I will go broke before I have another wrestling match and I will not go and work for another promotion," Batista told Chris Van Vliet.

As far as Batista going broke, that doesn't look to be in the cards as he's slated for the latest Guardians of the Galaxy sequel to reprise his role as Drax the Destroyer.
