Bayley has commented on the end of her "romance novel" at WrestleMania 39.

In the lead to WrestleMania 39, Bayley took to social media and compared her WrestleMania story to a romance novel. At WrestleMania, she led Damage CTRL against Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus. Ultimately, Damage CTRL came up short in their efforts.

Following the loss, Bayley took to social media again, tweeting that her romantic story has come to an end.
