Bayley speaks about The Revival, returning to NXT and a plethora of other topics during this interview.
Tonight at WWE's Fastlane pay-per-view, the current WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley will defend their titles against the duo known as "The Samoan Slaughterhouse" Nia Jax and Tamina. Bayley and Sasha have made it clear that the Women's Tag Titles will be defended on RAW, SmackDown Live, NXT and NXT U.K if possible.
The Boss N' Hug Connection have been putting the idea out there of them becoming Women's Tag Team Champions dating back to early 2018. They captured the titles in a Elimination Chamber match but Bayley prosed the idea of having a tournament similar to the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic simply to have more matches and she stated that during an interview with Mirror Sport.
"Yeah I think that would be really cool. I kinda wish that we had a tournament to determine the tag titles, just so we could have more matches with different types of teams and everything like that. Like including NXT and including NXT UK. I think that would be such a cool thing because we were both very close, me and Sasha were very close to Dusty Rhodes and he helped so much in both our careers that like being able to pay tribute to him in that way and know that we're a part of it, it just makes it more special for everybody in the tournament." Bayley explained. "You're not only fighting for an opportunity but you're also fighting for Dusty and that's such a beautiful thing. Even if you didn't know him, he's someone that knows so much about the business and that you respect so I would love if something like that could happen. Maybe we'll just keep tweeting about it and they'll make it happen."
It is well known that Sasha Banks and Bayley are tight with the current RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival. Bayley shared that she and Sasha take tips and tricks from "The Top Guys" in order to further understand tag team wrestling and added that she and "The Boss" are lucky to have Dash and Dawson in their corner.
"It's so hard. It's so, so different. It's a whole different psychology and it's been a struggle to learn, but it’s been very fun. Sasha and I are so lucky to have The Revival on RAW with us and we're so lucky to be such good friends with them because they help us so much in understanding the why in so many things. They teach us the psychology of actually being a tag team - people don't understand that." She continued, "When you're in a tag match, you have this tag partner and you make it known that you have this partner that you can work with. There's so many little things, we've had hundred of tag matches, but now that we are The Boss 'n' Hug Connection, we are the Women's Tag Team Champions, we have to up our game as far as these matches go. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder will sit with us and watch matches with us and show us matches that we all learn from and I can't say enough good things about them, because they've helped us so much. I'm just excited to get better."
