Speaking at the WrestleMania XL press conference, Bayley was asked about the new era in WWE.

"I saw Stephanie in the back. When I saw her at Hall of Fame, I didn’t get a chance to see her, but I was super excited to see her there. She is such an awesome person to have around. She is so genuine and real. She takes care of you. She looks you in your eyes when you talk to her. She cares. One time I saw the makeup people spill bobby pins on accident. She got on the floor and picked them all up. I was like, ‘Wow.’ She’s incredible. Seeing her go out there and say ‘welcome to WrestleMania,’ to me, that was huge. That was like, ‘Women could be in this position right now and can welcome the world to the biggest show in the world.’ I feel insane that I’m part of this at this time, at the hottest it’s ever been. I do not take it for granted. I do not take it lightly. I’ve known Stephanie for a long time. Seeing Brandi [Brandi Rhodes] back there was really cool. I was sitting next to her as she was watching the main event. She was tapping her leg and doing stuff. I had to rub her back and was like, ‘You got this, it’s going to be okay.’ It’s a very comforting feeling in the back, and that makes this so much better," she said.

Brandi was part of Cody's entrance for his main event match against Roman Reigns, and celebrated with him in the ring after the bout.
