Bayley On Jinder Mahal Trending: It Makes You Want To Tune In And It Makes More Money

Bayley talks Jinder Mahal and his recent return to trending status.

Over the last week, Jinder Mahal has become a major source of discussion within the industry, with AEW President Tony Khan calling into question his upcoming World Heavyweight Championship challenge against Seth Rollins on the January 15th edition of Monday Night RAW. Jinder would respond to Khan's social media post in his own way, which led to him trending on X.

Mahal's post caught the attention of many talent in the business, and that includes others on the WWE roster. While speaking to Gabby AF, Bayley would address Mahal trending ahead of his World Title match with Rollins on Monday, with The Role Model noting that wrestling is "the coolest" and "the funniest".

"I just think wrestling is the coolest and the funniest. The best thing about Twitter and wrestling fans, wrestling fans more so than any other sport, just love giving their opinion and think they’re always right. That’s how they feel. To me, it’s entertaining to watch. It’s also awesome to see people care this much about wrestling. It makes you want to tune in. If you’re not a WWE fan, ‘Well now I kind of want to see what they’re going to do’ or if you’re not a fan of watching Dynamite, you kind of want to tune in to see if they’re going to do something back. It just makes it fun. That’s what we’re all here to do, and it just makes more money [Laughs]. Jinder loves money."

Bayley is scheduled to compete on the Janury 12th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, where she will take on Bianca Belair in singles action.

Mahal would address his return to being "the talk of the town" in an interview earlier this week. You can read more about that here.
