Speaking with ProSieben Maxx on Instagram Live, Bayley said that she is very interested in the current crop of NXT women, naming several that she wants to get in the ring with in the near future. Specifically, Bayley said the WWE Universe should not sleep on Aliyah.
"Keep an eye on Aliyah, she's been there since I was there and she hasn't stopped working. I really look forward to her just getting some moments of her own. But, Candace LeRae, Shotzi Blackheart, Tegan Nox, when she gets better and comes back. Do I even have to mention Io [Shirai]? Everybody already knows that. Rhea [Ripley], everybody knows that. There's a lot, and I look forward to all of them," said Bayley.
Arguably, Bayley and Sasha Banks set a new standard for women's wrestling when they were the co-main event of NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn in 2015. Both women will look to set a new standard when they step inside Hell in a Cell on Sunday, October 25, 2020, to compete for the SmackDown Women's Championship.
