Bayley: My First Theme Song In NXT When I Became The Hugger, I Hated It

Bayley says she initially hated her NXT theme song.
One of the gimmicks Bayley had in WWE was of The Hugger. At that time, she was in NXT, and the whole idea behind this gimmick was that she just liked hugs. Her theme song was “Turn It Up” by CFO$, which she revealed she didn’t like.
Speaking with IGN recently, Bayley was asked about her theme songs and if wrestlers get to recommend what kind of music they want to use. Bayley said it depends. Then she used herself as an example, saying she didn’t like her NXT theme but had to use it because Triple H liked it.
“It kind of depends where you’re at in your career. Like my first one in NXT when I became the Hugger, they sent me, ‘Hey, this is what we’re thinking for music.’ I hated it. Then the next text was, ‘Hunter loves it.’ I said, ‘Alright, sounds good!’ Like that’s my song. Then [I] grew to love it, you know? Like people just got really excited when it came on.”
Bayley is currently scheduled to face AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the 3/16 Raw. Fightful will have live coverage of the show in our results section.
