Here is your fight size update for Monday, July 5, 2021:

- Speaking with Metro, Bayley admitted that the amount of WWE releases and some of the names released have hit her hard this year, specifically singling out Tyler Breeze.

“For one, he gives you his time. It wasn’t just me, he was helping Eva Marie at the time, he was helping so many girls that just wanted more. He helped Sasha so much,” she said of their extra training sessions to complement their regular classes. “Everybody was learning the same exact things and we wanted more. So, we would ask Breeze if he could watch our matches. Whether [or not] we knew what we needed to get better at, he did. For me, it was trying to get sympathy from the fans and learning how to sell a body part, certain things.”

- Speaking with TV Insider, Eva Marie reflected on her time on Total Divas.

“I’m super fortunate and happy that I had that opportunity. In hindsight, it is kind of crazy I was doing everything for the first time on camera as well. Whether it was in the company filming a reality show, being in a relationship, getting married. It helped me grow so much. It opened so many eyes to more women becoming fans of WWE. Total Divas was on the E! Network, so you’re opening up the demographic to so many women to watch that show and channel. Total Divas came around, and now all of a sudden they are watching Raw and SmackDown. It was really where the whole evolution of women and women’s wrestling really started and got talked about. I was grateful to be on it for six seasons because it created such an awesome fan base for me.”

- Speaking with Sportskeeda, Tommaso Ciampa said he still considers himself to be better than NXT Champion Karrion Kross:

"I think I'm better than him, you know, I'll say that. And it's hard to say that I guess because he beat me in under six minutes. I think he beat me at a time where... I wouldn't say I was easy to beat but I wasn't at the top of my game. I came back from the neck surgery, I chased after Goldie, Adam Cole beat me with Johnny Gargano's assistance, Johnny Gargano beat me with Candice's assistance and I just think I needed a break and Kross... it just lined up right for him.

"I think, over the last year and a half, I'm sure he's developed. I've watched some good showings but I'm back to being me and I think if the time ever does come where we step in the ring together again and it's Karrion Kross versus the Blackheart, the Psycho Killer, I just think it will be different.”
