Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions is back in just two weeks, and now we know who's going to be kicking off his new year of shows.
According to Steve Coulson of WWE Network News, Bayley will be appearing alongside the Texas Rattlesnake on Sunday, January 10. The conversation, which will air on the WWE Network, will mark the first time the series has played host to a female guest. Furthermore, since its inception in November of 2019, the only other modern-era Superstar to be featured is current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. Past episodes include discussions with the likes of The Undertaker, Ric Flair, Goldberg, and Bret Hart.
Bayley, a grand-slam champion in WWE, was the SmackDown Women's Champion for over a year, holding the title for 380 days before losing to Sasha Banks at Hell in a Cell on October 25, 2020. Recently, she has been embroiled in a feud with Bianca Belair, and despite a number of bad results in the weeks prior, was able to defeat the E.S.T of WWE on the December 18 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Most recently she was pinned by Sasha Banks in a Triple Threat Elimination Match for the Women's Tag Team titles.
2020 was a strong year for WWE's role model. Not only did she carry multiple belts, but was also named the No. 1 wrestler on PWI's women's rankings.
