Bayley Says Current WWE Theme Song Wasn’t Meant To Be Permanent

Bayley says her current WWE theme wasn’t supposed to be permanent.
Bayley has been using “Role Model” by def rebel as her entrance music since April 2024. Previously, she used “Deliverance” and “We Got the Rage,” when she was in Damage CTRL.
Speaking with IGN recently, Bayley opened up about her theme songs. While discussing the song she used after turning heel, Bayley revealed it was meant to be temporary. But she liked it, so WWE made it permanent.
“When I turned heel, it was the song that I ended up keeping (Deliverance by def rebel). They were like, ‘Hey, this is just for tonight. We don’t have to keep it.’ But then I really liked it. I like the little guitar solo in it. So we kept that.”
She also said that she misses her Damage CTRL theme.
“When Damage Control came about, we kind of collabed on that. So it was a little bit of back and forth. I feel like me, the music team, and Hunter all have different visions. We hear different things. That took me a little bit to get used to, but I actually miss that song (We Got the Rage by def rebel), the rapping one.”
Later, Bayley says her current theme was intended only to be used for her WrestleMania 40 match.
“The one I have now (Role Model by def rebel) was also one of those things where it was like, ‘Hey, this is just for ‘Mania, when I wrestled IYO, but we can get back to it. We just never got back to it. It’s not my favorite but that’s also my fault too. I need to be more on it, I guess.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Bayley said she initially hated her NXT theme song when she was The Hugger. Fans can check her comments here.
